These small animals are often the hardest to photograph. Due to their skittish nature and natural camouflage, they can be hard to spot and the window of opportunity is small because they don't stick around for long. Often I see them jumping through the tree branches, and by the time my camera finds them they are off again. Sometimes, if I can stay still and quiet long enough, their curiosity will bring them closer and I'm able to get a few good pictures.
